We believe the Holy Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, His revelation to mankind, perfect and without error, having God as its author, salvation as its purpose, and truth as its content. Scripture is totally true and trustworthy, the final authority for faith and conduct, the supreme standard by which all beliefs and actions are judged, and the true center of Christian unity. All Scripture testifies to Christ as the focus of divine revelation.
We believe in one living and true God—intelligent, spiritual, personal, and eternal—Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. He is infinite in holiness and perfection, all-powerful, all-knowing, and sovereign over all things past, present, and future. God is worthy of all love, reverence, and obedience and reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct persons without division of essence or being.
God the Father reigns with providential care over creation and human history according to His gracious purposes.
He is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, and all-wise.
He is Father to all who become His children through faith in Jesus Christ and is fatherly toward all mankind.
Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He fully revealed and accomplished the will of God, took on human nature without sin, honored the divine law through perfect obedience, and through His substitutionary death on the cross made redemption possible for all mankind.
The Holy Spirit is fully divine. He inspired the Scriptures, illuminates truth, exalts Christ, convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment, calls men to the Savior, and brings about regeneration.
Man is God’s special creation, made in His image as male and female, with gender as part of God’s good design. Created innocent and with freedom of choice, man sinned through Satan’s temptation and fell from his original righteousness, bringing sin into the human race. All inherit a sinful nature and stand condemned apart from God’s grace. Only God’s grace through Jesus Christ—who suffered and died for our redemption, rose for our justification, and offers salvation to all who repent and believe—can restore man to fellowship with God.
Salvation is the redemption of the whole person and is freely offered to all who receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is secured by His blood and includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ.
We affirm the Bible as our final authority in all matters. We support the Baptist Faith and Message (SBC, 2000) and unite as baptized believers in Jesus Christ, committed to proclaiming the Gospel to a lost world.
We observe Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper.
